WHY ASYMMETRICAL MAKES A DIFFERENCE
In speed sailing, drag is the enemy. A symmetrical profile produces lift on both sides, but that means extra drag when you're only sailing on one tack.

Frequently Asked Questions
Why do I need to choose Port (LHF) or Starboard (RHF) tack?
Asymmetrical fins only generate lift on one tack. Choose Port (left hand front) for typical left-to-right speed courses (e.g. La Franqui), or Starboard (right hand front) for right-to-left set-ups.
Can I use this fin for regular Freeride or Slalom?
No. The Asy Speed Carbon is designed only for straight line speed sailing on one tack. It’s not very suitable for gybing and sailing upwind can be hard.
Is it fragile?
No. It’s precision gear. As with all Carbon fins, avoid hitting sand or rocks. Use only in clean, deep, flat water conditions.
Will it improve my GPS results?
If you have the right spot, board and technique, absolutely. This is a race caliber speed fin for advanced riders.
