Is this as fast as the Carbon version?
It’s very close, slightly less stiff and heavier, but the same profile and outline. Ideal for training or first-time asy sailors.
Can I use it on a Freeride board? Can I use this fin on both tacks?
No. Asymmetrical fins are directional. Choose Port (LHF, left hand front) or Starboard (RHF, right hand front) tack depending on your sailing course.
Is it suitable for beginners in Speed sailing?
Yes. Especially for riders learning to sail speed courses or test GPS gear. It’s more forgiving and tougher than Carbon.
Can I hit bottom or launch over rocks?
It’s more durable than carbon but it’s still a performance fin. Avoid hard contact if possible. Perfect for sandbars or rough launches where Carbon is risky to use.
