The new Tribal Radix V4 is built for riders who crave the blistering speed of PWA race gear, but without the physical struggle or the fragile construction. We listened to the Tribe and evolved the shape: 2 cm shorter, a deeper deck concave and a narrower tail.

Most Slalom boards are designed for 100kg Pro riders in perfect conditions. The Radix is designed for YOU. It gives you that "free" and loose sensation under your feet, yet bites hard exactly when you need it to. Where full-race boards punish you in the chop, the Radix gives you the confidence to push even harder.

    The Physics of Speed, simplified. We solved the technical puzzle so you can focus on the sailing!

    • Shorter & Looser (237cm): by shortening the board by 2cm, we reduced the swing weight. It feels lighter, reacts faster, and flies more freely over the water

    • Narrower Tail = Superior Gybing. The refined, narrower tail reduces drag at top speed and allows you to turn as if you are on rails. You'll exit the turn with more speed

    • Deeper Deck Concave: we deepened the deck area around the mast track. This acts like an I-beam, making the board significantly stiff. Every gust of wind is now instantly converted into forward drive

    • Direct Connection: because you stand lower inside the concave, your centre of gravity drops. This results in better leverage over the fin and rock-solid stability

    Frequently Asked Questions 

    Why is the board shorter (237cm)?

    During our R&D, we found that 237cm is the perfect "sweet spot." It retains the passive stability the Radix is famous for but makes the board more responsive and playful. The reduced swing weight means the board reacts faster to your foot steering.

    What is the benefit of the Deeper Deck Concave?

    Two main benefits: Stiffness and Control. Deepening the deck shape creates a stiffer platform structure. Additionally, it lowers your stance relative to the water surface, giving you more leverage over the fin and much more control in heavy gusts.

    Is the Radix difficult to sail?

    No. While the board hits PWA speeds, we smoothed out the "sharp edges" that make pure Slalom boards so nervous. If you are comfortable in footstraps, you can sail the Radix!

    Which fin works best?

    When the board and fin "speak the same language," the performance gain is massive. The Radix is tuned for our Tribal MK3 or PowerMax fins. Due to the new shape (narrower tail), you can often sail a fin 1 to 2 cm smaller than you are used to.
