How is PowerMax different from a slalom fin?
Slalom fins are stiffer and faster in perfect conditions, but harder to control. PowerMax gives you 90% of the speed with far more comfort and forgiveness.
Can I use it on a freeride board?
Absolutely, it pairs very well with freeride, freerace and slalom boards, giving each more grip and control.You can even use it as single-fin in FSW boards as long as you pair it with 5+ batten sails (powerwave, freeride, freerace, slalom).
What size should I pick?
Is it fast enough for GPS sailing?
Yes. While it’s not as radical as a full slalom fin, PowerMax can reach over 30 knots (+55km/h) comfortably with excellent control.
